Brainwashing people ... Brainwashing kids!

I wonder, how many of you happened to watch an animated
series, which airs on cartoon network at
It's about super heroes.
The same ones I grew up with ... reading their comics.
You know ... Superman, Batman and others.
Some, I can still remember and others they've added later, like an African American Super hero, to make it politically correct.
I was sitting with my kids as they were watching " Justice league" cartoon, not paying much attention, that is until I started hearing very common phrases.
First, the Super Heroes are meeting all together in an
office on Planet Earth, with the biggest
Then, they go to another planet and start a huge war with this "evil man".
After everything is said and done, a battle fought with the
ease and courage of Super Heroes from the
And there comes the shocking scene.
The Super Heroes gather together in one place on the planet as soon as the battle is over, when the "simple people" of this planet come out and greet them with much gratitude.
"Thank you for saving us and freeing our world" they say.
"But we have destroyed your planet" the super

Then they show a scene around this planet of complete destruction.
Black burned buildings with smoke coming out of them wherever you look.
Nothing, but destruction.
" Don't worry, we will rebuild our planet. You have saved us from the evil dictator"
Here, I thought ... Oh my God!
Where have I heard all of this before?
Evil dictator ... justified war ... freeing the oppressed people ... rebuilding.
So ... Did the Bush adminstration
watch this cartoon before they decided to go ahead and destroy
That it would be OK to destroy the whole county the way they did, because the "free Iraqis" would welcome and thank them in the end.
Although, any one could have told them that this attack will only be as costly and deadly to the people of Iraq, as it turned out to be, and as costly and deadly to the US soldiers and the US, as it's proving to be ... If they cared to ask.
OR, are they simply brainwashing our kids?

PS: About our family
I phoned my Mom, today.
Thank God, she was able to come to the phone.
After being confined to bed rest for more than a month, since the armed men attacked her in her home in Al Mansoor, today she was able to walk to the phone without help, for the first time.
She talked about the incident. I listened.
She said that the scene of the door to her bed room opening and three armed men getting in, is still haunting her.
She talked of how they shoved her, hand-cuffed her using duct tape and tied her legs using my fathers shirt.
Then they tried to put a tape on her mouth... she told them she is unable to breath from her nose, so they didn't.
She said , two of them were very violent ... the third sat watching her.
As she started praying, the most violent of the men started shouting "shut her up".
The man next to her told her" They are here with the intention of killing , give them what they want".
My Mom said that she was very afraid for the safety of her grandsons who spent the night with her.
she told them " let me give you the money and stop trashing the room.
She said that after they took the money and the car, she ran to the room where my nephews were asleep to make sure they are ok.
Now, they are making the house looks like a prison, she told me ... with steel rods covering the smallest window in the house.
Although, the worst thing now .. she said ... are not only robberies, but the explosions everywhere.
She thanks God that she did not become paralyzed from the shock.
